Psychological Evaluations
Formal psychological testing can be helpful when a person's diagnosis is uncertain, especially with children and adolescents. Not all patients require a Pyschological Evaluation, but proper treatment surely requires a full understanding of the problem. An evaluation can help.
Counseling
Counseling or psychotherapy involves talking with a psychologist or counselor about the difficulties you face, and working together to find new solutions. That is the essence of recovery, whatever the problem may be.
